Right On Your Premises-

Amanda can design and implement a fitness studio inside your company. This is much more than just a designated space with a whole lot of equipment . Its design and equipment components are based on your specific requirements. Amanda personally selects the best equipment for the program you have in place and provides all employees with the knowledge and insight they need to get the most out of their sessions.

When designing a Functional Training Studio it's important to have a balance between user-friendly equipment, so that your people can get achieve a good all-round workout, and some specific functional equipment so that they can maximize the effectiveness of their training in pre-identified specific areas.

What Is Functional Exercise?

Functional Exercise can be described as training for real life activities. This means that the benefits that are gained by training in this manner have a high degree of transfer to everyday activities that you perform.

Functional Exercise is a more three-dimensional form of training than the conventional resistance machines and therefore will utilize many more muscles in multiple planes of movement.

This means your people will achieve greater results than just training on machines alone. This form of training is being used as a preventative measure for a large number of muscular-skeletal type injuries including back and neck pain.

The Studio Design

When Amanda make recommendations for a studio design she looks at all the specific parameters for a training facility, including:

  • Available space
  • The number of people using the facility
  • The reasons for implementing the studio ( i.e. stress management, improved posture, decrease back pain, improved workplace performance or even a genuine concern for the wellbeing of your staff)
  • The overall budget for the facility

Your studio would be designed with a number of objectives in mind. It would maximize the use of space by efficient planning and equipment placement. It would be decorated in a way that is visually enticing and less intimidating to you staff, which will encourage them to take a real interest in it.

The studio would be of a high technical quality, so that the more gym- experienced of your people would be encouraged to make use of it.

And, of course the studio would be well maintained, via a low budget maintenance program so that all of the equipment is totally functional at all times.
